July 14, 200322 yr comment_1427 I have a 9448 Alarm system with the Engineer codes and of course my main code, I would like to swap out a Shock sensor for a PIR. (Changed patio slider for french windows) IF I place the system in program mode will it allow me to remove the shock sensor and replace with PIR? OR .... will it come up in a 'panic/tamper' alarm? Any help appreciated before I wake up the neighbours! July 14, 200322 yr comment_1428 You should be fine in engineering mode so long as you remove the AUX feed to the detectors before you start messing, just so`s you dont blow any fuses. ........................................................
