rossibufc
Can anyone help please. A newly installed galaxy 48 with 2 keypads each cabled in belden from panel approx 70m each. 680ohm resistor across each and link 3 removed from panel. When panel is powered up the keypads either come on with all stars or nothing and the green light flashes but they dont respond to any key presses. If I disconnect one keypad from panel the other works fine and vise versa but the 2 wont work together. Any sugestions anyone. Guest Oxo
Personally ( after you have answered James) I would flylead both RKP`s at the panel to make sure all is well. Had similar before on a G3-520 with 12 RKP Ethernet dual SAB and 7 internal sounders. Turned out the PCB`s were at fault. In diagnostics 61:1:2 PS, the panel will work without the resistors in the keypad. Again i`d double check if your unsure.
