On the machines we build we currently spec Seagate ES.2 Drives unless its very special and then seagate sas drives. But our own server at work runs WD Velicoraptors in Striped Raid 1. I have to say they have been faultless and i also run them in raid 0 on my own machine.

But I have had limited success in using non enterprise (apart from our server) in raid arrays or for video work.
