you may need to change the serial telem type, but yes an rx100 would solve your problem

The DM unit is an old sprite that only works on pelco p......

Next problem is that the PTZ does not seem to like Pelco P 4800 bauds..

Even with the BBV protocol converter, I think you still need a DM keypad to use the telemetry.

If its the only functional dome, have you considered using a cheapo keypad, such as a Cop one, Not as expensive and will work Pelco D.

I did think about using a keyboard bUT there are other PTZ's running on pelco p 4800.

you will need a dm keyboard, but it will work with the dm unit, so will send the protocol as set per camera. The sprite does this not the keyboard.

I Just took it as read that you can control domes with the software.

If there are already domes on the system you'll know, I was just trying to point out that you cant cantrol them from the front of the Sprite.
