I am trying to download one of the installer manuals but I have just read elsewhere on this site that these are not available to non industry people like myself. Guess I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Yes phil im afraid so. Install manuals are only available to trade members. If you are trade then please apply however as it looks like then we cant release them.
