Hi All

i am trying to setup one of these on my home PC, AMD 64 bit

but i cannot get the pc to recognise the baxall.

i have connected the network port directly to the 100/10 on my pc.

light is on on the front of the machine. and tried the viewer with ip 192.168.0.15.

should the DHCP be set to yes?

viwer connections is set to yes.

should i be doing anything else?.

just will not connect.

tried pinging from dos prompt, still nothing

anyone know what i am doing wrong? tried rebooting all.

Make sure you are connecting it with a crossover cable not patch cable(they are both Cat5 type cable).

if your connecting direct to your pc, and are using dhcp, you will need a dhcp on your pc.

Better to use staic address in that situation IMO
