Informa Dialler Keeps Dialling!

Featured Replies

Installed informa dialler (not my choice) to a scanny 9651, output 3 triggering the dialler. But when programmed the damn thing starts constantly on even setting of alarm, anybody know what the panel is doing here?, seems like constant triggering.. and also the dialler doesnt even wait for call pick up and starts playing messages instantly..

Any advice appreciated..

Thanks Redbull, I think I know what the prob was; Output 3 may be programmed as set latch, needs to be set to normal bell, will find out for sure tommorow..

cheers

That is its default setting. Just change it.

Why not use the communicator outputs? Will allow more control over your system.

Eg: on part set (say if partset B when your in bed) you can prog the panel to:

keypad sounder only

internal sounder & keypads

internal & external

or

full alarm, to include the dialler.

Saves dialling your mum/uncle etc cos the kids got up early or whatever.

That seems like the best method allowing full control of alarm activation,

setting as internal sounder only on part set activation is logical

Thanks hpotter :)
