I have just added a nova active sounder to my system, it is working fine. The internal sound bomb makes a weird noise when in unset state.

Can internal sounders not be used as well as nova active?

You can with most external sounders, I imagine (though it's only a poorly educated guess) that the oscillator that drives the comfort LEDs on the external sounder is somehow causing interference.

What control panel do you have and is the battery in good condition?

Also make sure the sounder isnt in the same cable as the keypad.

Ive you have used the Novagard in active mode no cant connect anything else sounder wise to its outputs. You have to use a programmable output 1,2 or 3 for additional sounders.

It is a 595 with a new battery.

Will program an output for the sounder.
