I have some proper Apollo Series 65 optical smokes with relay bases at home, never been a problem. They replaced some Texecom Exodus' that false alarmed a few times.

Used them too, not bad but the M12 is so adaptable.

m12 just set to what is needed only one bit of kit dose 4 jobs ;)
