frankpinto
+Hi eveyone, I have a 5 year old Accenta G3 in a house with a SD1+ dialler working great. I 've fitted a n Accenta G4 panel in the garage and want to use the SD1+ dialler. I have connected a bell trigger from the new panel to 'B' connection on the SD1+ but it will not dial out, what am I missing ? james.wilson
you need to connect the negatives from each panel, only the negs mind. lawandorder
you need to connect the negatives from each panel, only the negs mind.James I think that if he is using the s- bell output to trigger the dialler he will have to connect the positives of the panel instead of the negs. james.wilson
dont connect the positives. You may damage one of the psu's. Just connect 0v together on both panels, but only the 0v. May need a pull up depends on the distance as well. But id say not. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. mark auto
i thought it was just a simple negative trigger from the bell to the sd1+? ive done it where you can have 2 systems signalling through the same dialler, one on each input. you could even record a seperate message for each input so you would know which one had triggered. not sure if you would have to program in the phone numbers seperatly for the 2nd input, someone else may know in more detail Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/28312-sd1/#findComment-235660 Share on other sites
