I got called to a job yesterday which had been powered down completly and lost all memory for the 2nd time, there is no link on this panel it now saves via the the battery on pcb this was fitted with cardboard removed and the connection were being made, I cannot think of why this is happening but know i'm writing this i'm thinking the bat maybe flat but it is brand new?? ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM??

Have you tested to see if the battery is ok?

lol it must have been 48 i thought it was g2 tho, but any ideas cause def has bat lol (my mistake feel stupid now)

Have you tested to see if the battery is ok?

No i did not test bat as only thought of it this morning, as i was thinking the panel maybe faulty (i was looking for other reasons why it would loose its memory bat only hit me this morning)

sparks working in premises left it running on battery backup when i arrived bat was 4vdc (building only just been complete) my 1st call there i just been told lost its memory before i dont think it will happen again as all building work finished now, but i will have to check the bat now.

doesnt sound right, no-one would have opened it up and pulled the batery?

but if it is doing it you need to check the battery as above, if not that then id replace the board
