External Bell\sounder Box

Featured Replies

Hi

What external bell\sounder box would you recommend that is compatible with a galaxy g-48 dimension control panel? I appreciate most boxes are compatible but are there any better boxes than others etc?

thanks

WE use the CQR Ultima 2 bell unit found to be reliable and good looking you can get a model with steel insert but have not used many of them . The unit has twin strobe units and op for twin sounders but it dose draw a fair current about 250mA in alarm plus 80mA for strobe and sits at about 50mA in normal mode.

Any conventional bell will be fine.

Texecom oddysey 3's are popular but you can use any SAB unit.

Many thanks for your recommendations - much appreciated.

I like the look of the Texecom Odysseys and so just been looking at the range they do and I quite fancy the Odyssey 5. I presume the Odyssey 5 is ok too like the Odyssey 3 with the Galaxy Dimension?

Thanks again.

yes all of em are fine.
