March 31, 200917 yr comment_231609 Only the last sensor in a chain should have a series (tamper) resistor fitted, all sensors have a parallel resistor across the alarm contacts. All the alarm and tamper contacts on a specific zone are wired in series. March 31, 200917 yr comment_231623 If I remember correctly, you can't do it the conventional way on a Scanny panel (ie last contact with the 2k2 EOL and 4k7 across the reed, all the other contacts with just a 4k7 across the reed) as it does'nt like it when both doors are open. You may have to do it using the "third wire" method, where you use one 4k7 and send it across both contacts. Not the best way to do it though. Can't go to detail in the public area. March 31, 200917 yr comment_231633 If you wire the 1st contact as per normal all you have to do is wire the second contact as if it were double pole wiring then wire the tamper pair in series with the pair from the 1st contact. Wire the 2nd contact pair in series with the reed on the 1st one. In other words the shunt resistor will shunt both reeds. Probably easier if you totally ignore the above and just draw it out!! The imporatnt bit is you need to run a 4 core from the 1st to the 2nd contact.
