Hi,

I am a DELPHI programer , my company is working with GE Security ''SIMON'' type panels, and until now was using the incomming telephone number to identify the client , with VOCALS !!!.

Having found the ACTIVEX for modem controls (works fine) I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the SIA protocols to enable the intergration in my system !! I am making a FRONTAL ...

Please can someone help me to get the SIA protocols , and if possible the GE SIMON protocol !!!

Many thanks from SENEGAL

DAVID

Hello netchip,

Please take the time to introduce yourself in the appropriate forum and try to stop SHOUTING :)

The SIA protocol varies greatly from company to compay in its interpretation - it is not sadly a uniform standard. There are also different levels of the SIA protocol - from the basic fast format 'SIA 1' through to the much more in depth, two way comms described in 'SIA 4'.

I hope you manage to acheive your aim with the information you have found.
