With 2009 upon us I have now learnt the true meaning of old age.

Last week as I lay basking on my verandah, my wife, who had been engaged in some domestic maintenance, came to me and said : "Darling, what I need is a really long screw."

Without a thought I went out to my shed to look for one.

similar thing happened to me..........but by the time I found the key I forgot what I was looking for.

I'd have insisted on a full site survey before agreeing to provide the requested fixing.

Liability for errors is often claimed to be the fault of the supplier not the specifier.

In my experience a good old nail is what's required.

Just don't accept that quality is the key.

I strongly disagree and would rather supply a larger quantity of lower quality nails any day.

Works for me anyway.
