Thanks jpaul for your help yesterday.

I can get in and out of engineers mode OK but when I come out of it the tamper light stays on (flashing). This results in me not being able to set the alarm, could you please tell me how to reset it.

Hello patric,

If pressing the # key doesn't clear it you still have a tamper present.

1st check the lid and keypad are seated properly. next link out the global tamper to see if it clears, if it does meter the loop 1 at a time until you find the open circuit. Next short out the bell return tamper to negate that.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
