Exel R8 Plus Unset Problem

Featured Replies

Hi Guy's,

I have just installed an texecom r8 plus sytem with three lcdkeypads, every thing works fine exept that i'am only able to unset the alarm on one keypad. Setting the alarm is possible on all three lcd keypads.

I really need some help.

Have you set different addresses for each keypad (with the dip switches on the keypad)

data cores swapped over?

Yes i'am able to acces the programming from all three rkp's, even the mastercode seems to work on all three. I'have 6 zones and on zone one rkp works fine, only zones five and six the rkp's only can unset the alarm with the master code. I'am thinking on this problem for two weeks know and i'll run out of options......

Sounds like either:

Wiring problem which results in low voltage to keypads

maybe keypad power from wrong circuit ... again leading to low (or no) voltage when alarm set
