Could it be the bell box that have developed a fault and thats why i blowing the fuse? Just wondered as thats outside. Weather and that. Alarm Protection Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 There is a short in the cable somewhere. Try removing the wires from the aux supply and switch panel on. If this blows the fuse it sounds like the bell. I would call an engineer in to try an resolve the fault and test system etc. ! Then replace the positive wires one at a time till the fuse blows again. There's the faulty circuit. mark auto Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 You`ll need to reboot it and/ or have it unlocked by the manf too. the engineer code can be reset by an engineer, but only if the original code starts with somethin other than 9.
