I have a new Yale wireless/telecoms system to install, but I need to uninstall my existing wired system first. The current system installed is IntelliSense SECURIT 800L+ - I do not have the installation manual, only the user manual I downloaded from this site.

Can anybody please advise how best to do it - it is still active, although several zones are now showing the tamper warning light.

As im sure you can appriciate we cannot give detailed advise on how to disable an alarm system.

But assuming its an audible only system (should be as its an 800l) then the external sounder is your main problem. This is what you will need to look at first.

As soon as you touch it (ie start to open it) it should sound. There is no way around this as the sounder is protecting itself.

Best advise is get a pro to decommision it for you.
