I fitted a accenta /optima alarm system a few weeks ago it worked ok but it goes into alarm on the same zone, every time it is set ,at various times of the night, can you help me mike

What is connected to the zone in question?

If it's a PIR it is well worth removing the cover and checking for spiders, even the smallest of insects cause problems if they get inside the case and it's surprising how small a gap they can get through.

Also worth checking the siting of the detector in relation to any draughts or heat sources.

You said it activates at night ..... could it be a sensor that should be isolated at night, eg. landing, bedroom?
