November 5, 200817 yr comment_215622 I am having a real issue with Auto test call. When the Global timer [Test Call Every] is set to [1] hour, then bang on the hour I receive the SMSes and the IP packets through the Com-IP. As soon as I up the parameter (I've tried 2, 4 and 24 hours over the last week) the auto test calls cease to be generated. When I change the parameter back to 1, they start again. I'm mainly using Wintex to program the panel but checking the parameter has changed afterwards at the Keypad. I'm also perfroming an engineer reset for good measure. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as this is just driving me crazy. November 5, 200817 yr Author comment_215680 I'm wanting to set the test to run every day or every few days. The problem is as soon as I increase the parameter from every 1 hour the auto calls stop altogether Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/25426-texecom-premier-48-auto-test-call/#findComment-215680 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 November 5, 200817 yr comment_215687 I'm wanting to set the test to run every day or every few days. The problem is as soon as I increase the parameter from every 1 hour the auto calls stop altogether I assume you are entering your times as > 024 = 24hrs - 1day 072 = 3days 168 = 7days therefore if you enter 168 at 10:00 in the morning on Tuesday you should get the next call at 10:00 the following Tuesday Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care. November 5, 200817 yr Author comment_215711 Test calls by control timer 4 is disabled (ie not checked in Wintex). Format is being entered correctly. When it's 001, then the tests happen hourly. It's presently set at 002 and no test calls have gone out since the change at lunchtime today Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/25426-texecom-premier-48-auto-test-call/#findComment-215711 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 November 5, 200817 yr Author comment_215721 I'll say it again, Test calls by control timer 4. OK. I thought you were suggesting that's what I had configured and so why the test calls weren't happening. Why do you recommend using CT4 instead of the Global Timer [Test Calls Every]. Is it just that the Global Timer doesn't work?
