just found this site, reminds me of a site that was started about 8 years ago and was full of previous //.National Installer.// ,Modern and Thorn guys , wow that rocked a few peoples boats just after the big merger . to many home truths i think.

just had a quick scan before doing the sunday afternoon car wash and noticed some familiar names . Hi to all them that know me.

My name is Steve Haley , previously from Thorn , //.National Installer.// , Chubb and now working for a excellent local company called Hall and Rhodes in West Yorkshire . ave spent 14 years innthe alarm industry and still love it.

Welcome to the site.

This place has quite a lot of national or ex national engineers on it, but also a huge number of smaller firms. and yeah, we have the odd heated discussion, but it's all good constructive debate and some serious issues are raised.

The big red alarm boxes used by Hall and Rhodes are Manufacturered to their own requirements, the insides are made on the premises . the are good sounder units but lack the all important bell timer . i have now moved on from Hall and Rhodes and am spending my days with Sunwin Security working for United Co-op
