Ade Karizma Keypad

Featured Replies

Hi,

The keypad on my ADE Karizma ID panel has failed. Press any digit and it echoes across the LED screen. The keypad is the simple version, pn 8EP175.

I cannot find a new one and wondered if anyone had one or a reconditioned /repaired one. Or is this a known fault and easily fixed.

If all else fails does anyone have a diagram with the wiring connectors or schematic so an electronics repairer might be able to have a look.

Thanks,

Graham.

Have you checked the connection to the panel?, sounds like it just getting power and no comms?.

my thoughts to,

might be lucky someone has one kicking around, ebay search is another option.

all else fails other panels will fit using an iD interface, Gardtec G595, some Tunstal models to name among some of them.

so depends how hard it would be to replace cables against the additional conventional panel costs, not all engineers love to work on iD systems  (but then they are just woosies imo )

I have managed to fix the panel. There is a small 8 pin chip on the board and it had failed.

Might help someone else.

Regards,

Graham.
