October 18, 201015 yr comment_254667 If you want to get rid of Norton from your machine completely you have to use the Symantec Removal Tool, uninstalling through control panel does not remove everything. Unless you want to mess with the registry. March 14, 201115 yr comment_271178 I've been using and testing many AV solutions over a number of years, no program has impressed me more than ESET Nod 32. I use this in conjunction with MBAM previously mentioned but I do pay for the active monitoring, I think it's approx a one off payment of £15 and it's well worth it. Hope that helps A Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/25004-anti-virus-2009/page/4/#findComment-271178 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
