thought i would finally register and say hello, have been frequenting the forum for a while.

been working in the fire alarm and emergency lighting industry for around 11 years and have pretty good knowledge of security (worked with security on and off over the years.

I am seriously considering starting up on my own in the security industry (having great fun with business plan at the moment).

can i also declare ( as i have seen alot of banter between sparkies and alarm engineers :rolleyes: ) i am indeed a qualified electrician but am a competent alarm enigneer. LOL.

well i used to to be a good alarm engineer, then i became a qualified spark and it just happened..
