why on earth would you want it to plugged in but not charging?

sometimes I`ve only used the battery for 10 mins

LOL - thats how I ran old trusty the sony for 2 years, didnt even realise the eldest had had his teeth braced till I got this new machine

it will stop charging it once its full anyway

but it can`t be good for it can it? 10mins of charge, fully flat battery only charging for 20mins etc
