August 31, 200817 yr comment_209107 Hi, I was hoping I could get some help regarding disconecting a sensor that is linked to my Optima 2 plus. I have recently had a new door fitted and the builder had just removed the sensor without making a note of how the wires had been connected. I have now decided to remove it as I already have a sensor in the room. Can I open up the alarm and somehow remove the wires? Many thanks for your help! Many thanks for your help! problem you may have is if the wires have been cut apart youll now have a tamper as the global tamper is no longer a continuos line from the panel, so unless you know what your system it might be best to get an enigineer in to sort this problem out. the engineer could also do a service aswell depending on where / if it was serviced before.
