June 3, 200421 yr comment_14746 First I would like to thank those contributors to my previoooous thread, thanks! From your contributions I feel that a 'Quad' is probably the way to go. The present PIR has three wires from it, +ve, +ve and -ve trigger wire. From what I can tell from specs, the trigger wire would go from a realy that is fail safe closed. I want something that sends a signal when triggered. Can anybody help me please. if anybody could ssend me a copy an installation leaflet for a 'run of the mill' PIR I would appreciate it so that I can get a clearer idea of the connections and operation. Many thanks, John Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/2457-motorhome-alarm-trigger-connection/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 3, 200421 yr comment_14748 I was going to suggest using a mini relay but then thought it would be a lot easier to use a pir with NC and NO terminals, anyone recommend one? The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/2457-motorhome-alarm-trigger-connection/#findComment-14748 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
