I have looked at every page of info i can find and still cant get it to play bk the .dvr files. followed your link camerabloke and install the software which loads but no pics. do i need any codecs? james.wilson Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 ah. Looking at the dvr file type it looks like a carrier for many different formats, like mpeg4, there are many versions. Without knowing which one you have you will need to install all the viewers. It is possible that different manufacturer make a different player for their DVR. Commonly, most dvr player is windows media player. For our DVR, we have our own player, so our dvr recording files will not be opened by windows media player except our own player that can be downladed from our website. So, this might be the problem,,, You can just attach a photo of your DVR here. Let us check out.
