June 17, 200817 yr comment_201702 Hello to all I am trying to configure this dvr dynacolor for access by Web browser. Everything works fine except, not have access to images. I can remotely control the dvr but are not shown the images of the cameras. The system calls for installing a Java application, but still not open the images. I'm using Wndows xp home with all the updates made, and IE7. Appended some pictures. If someone can help me, I am grateful. Thanks F. June 18, 200817 yr comment_201714 A lot of dvr's had issies with ie7. You might try ie6 to prove the point. It could also be the network at one end or another due to port restrictions etc. Does it work ok on a local lan with that machine? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. June 18, 200817 yr comment_201747 I'd concur with Redbull. It might also be worth trying Mozilla Firefox (I believe they have a new version out today) Hope this helps Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23697-problems-of-image-in-remote-access-through-the-net/#findComment-201747 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 18, 200817 yr comment_201784 Another thing ive found as well as those above is if you are using vista and you log in the dvr will try and install active x control, if it is unsigned then vista will reject it. Change the security settings in ie temporarily if that is the case Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23697-problems-of-image-in-remote-access-through-the-net/#findComment-201784 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 18, 200817 yr comment_201788 I used to sell earlier version of the dynacolor a couple of years ago. Had similar problems on sites. The active X component is needed but sometimes was cured when installing the latest java Java check: dynacolor's website for compatibility. It may only work with Windows 2000 or xp? I do not think Mozilla will work, only ie6 not ie7 By the way, the resolution setting may affect transmission speed over the internet Kind regards Stuart Onley SAMS Consultancy Independent Security Consultants email:enquiries@samsconsultancy.co.uk website:www.samsconsultancy.co.uk Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23697-problems-of-image-in-remote-access-through-the-net/#findComment-201788 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 June 20, 200817 yr comment_202032 As said change internet security settings in internet options, enable java and select prompt on the disabled javas under custom level you'll find the there, also in trusted sites add the ip address, turn off https notification and then custom level with javas enabled or prompt and try again it should be ok then.
