Texecom Detectors

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, what do you think about texecom detectors? I like the prestige series but in Italy it is only one importer and become very difficult buy.

i've used a lot of the prestige range and only had one false alarm but that was due to a over excited cat . so decided to keep the detectors and get rid of the cat

Does Mrs Shinfieldmonkey know about that?????

About the original post - no complaints about the Texecom detectors - especially like the modular board changes - no faffing about drilling new holes. That said, if they are hard to get hold of, try another brand. Optex are excellent, Rokonet (or are they Risco this week?) are good too. Just my opinion.

texecom detecotrs are generally very good, they are our standard detectors of choice

We don't use Texecom detectors, but they are good .... and every one is tested before leaving the factory, unlike many other makes which are only batch tested.

PM me for access to the SSAIB members discussion area.

When i started i used reflex, then moved on to the prestige, then pyronix me 12 or was it Q, now on pyronix meQ blue.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

crow electronics sell a lot of PIr's in italy and have some very good ranges so it may be worth looking at them. The genius (although a litle old in the tooth now) is still a fantastic detector
