Featured Replies

Hi guys, nice weekend hey!!!!

Is not the panel have ruled it out, will have to start splitting the loop and see, all on hold for now while the clients gets approval for further expenditure, typical!!

Thanks for all your help

Well,as long as you have a docket signed saying that the integrity of the system is compromised then you've done your bit.

Thanks, no this is a very basic entry level panel and has no such features

You have probably already sorted this problem now but for future referemce the xfp does have a loop diagnostic fearure, you run the the diagnostics and it interagates each point on the loop several times and then flags up any that reported back bad data. much better than morleys diagnostics!

if you think it is noise on the loop check the earth continuie is good. to help reduce noise fit ferrite coils on the loops and check for a good earth to the house mains system. then try to runn the system as a radial or if the panel will let you two radials but some ctecs are only one loop panels so you may have to remove some devices from the system overnite. had a problem with a ctec panel in cumbria throwing out rubbish only problem national contract i am based in birmingham. always clear when i got there. happy hunting
