May 11, 200818 yr comment_197186 Hopefully some of you fine lot will be able to assist me here. We are a CCTV company, one of our main clients (a shop-fitters) have asked us to put together a quote for an alarm system in a medium sized high street retail outlet. It will basically consist of: Control Panel in Alluminium Casing with Remote LCD Operator Panel 4 x Dual Tec Passives 6 x Door Contacts 1 x Sound Bomb 2 x Belle Boxes There will be no remote monitoring / connection at this stage. I'd like to put a decent Grade II in here and wonder, specifically, what manufacturers and systems you recommend. Thanks in advance. ________ Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23183-decent-grade-ii-system-recommendations/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 11, 200818 yr comment_197189 alloy WTF?Controls? galaxy would be my choice Agreed Why not let us sort it for you. I would make sure there is a few quid in it for you. We cover lancashire and we would at least provide a SSAIB Cert. May 11, 200818 yr Author comment_197194 sorry, ignore the alloy comment .. I meant steel. Whistle, can't hurt to give us a quote but it would have to be on a subbed basis. ________ Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/23183-decent-grade-ii-system-recommendations/#findComment-197194 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 11, 200818 yr comment_197200 Would recomend Galaxy G3 - 48 Risco Iwise DT G3 Elmdean G3 door contacts I would fit the above but cert it at grade 2 as there is very little price diffrence between G2 and G3 kit and you will find the Galaxy 2 only has 500ma of Aux power for your detectors. I would not be intrested in subby work as i would not be able to issue a cert of i did it as a subby. May 11, 200818 yr comment_197201 That answer could start a decent G3 G2 debate, but how can you cert to G2 without seeing the place and doing a risk assesment? May 11, 200818 yr comment_197204 That answer could start a decent G3 G2 debate, but how can you cert to G2 without seeing the place and doing a risk assesment? We would still do a risk assesmant but as we only use grade 3 on all commercial it would not matter what the outcome of the RA was as we could grade it 2 or 3.
