April 9, 200818 yr Author comment_194650 What I called recomissioning, was reinstalling an alarm system I had just removed. I dont deal with alarms often, and was chuffed that I got it off the wall without a sound, the doors and windows have been replaced, front door wiring has been renewed, two upstairs window contacts have been renewed on existing wiring. All the contacts work no probs. All I can think to try is removing the supply to another PIR on the system, just incase it is faulty and affecting zone 2 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/22723-optima-compact/page/2/#findComment-194650 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 April 10, 200818 yr Author comment_194706 Got there in the end, it seems when I removed the panel around 12 months ago, I disabled zone 2 in program1, so even though I had set zone 2 type to security, as soon as the panel was set, it defaults to prog1 which had zone 2 disabled. Thanks to the gent who pmed suggesting I part with money, that spurred me on. Part with money indeed.
