I'm trying to figure out what they are up to by phasing out the domestic but not commercial network ? Many will offer only one. *Whistles* Not all are so limited As for the services stopping obviously the industry is aware of the latest product which has been stopped although I can't foresee major issues for most of the main providers with this one. I suspect when they start whittling down the exchanges due to 'lack of demand' it will have more of an immediate impact.... and of course 21cn itself....ahhhh good times ahead. Thinking of taking the JB///.Large National Installer.// approach of giving away my IP/GSM/GPRS adapters at cost in order to build up RMR. I have bought new PSTN and GSM receivers, my IP receivers are fired up and I have offices and monitoring operators ready to go. CSL (dualcom) basically admitted they dont sell anything even though they think they're better! Emizon21 is definately the way forward. Not only do you not need a Redcare line block, or an extra lot of BT line rental, it's ridiculously easy to install, and doubles as a telecom module/comm2400 for Galaxy and Texecom control panels (more manufacturers on way). The time taken to copy a log or upload a program is apparently 5 times less than normal dial up, and you can do more than one site at once. Wonderful piece of kit ! Thunderass Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 In an engineers meeting recently, a rep from - some communication firm ( must appologise - was early and had slight banging nugget due to late night for the wrong reasons), described Redcare as 'On the decline'. Is Emizon using the unit built by Bosch or the Pyronix equivalent? And can someone remind me in laymens terms 21CN. Is this the part about communications going IP? Thanks.
