February 17, 200818 yr comment_190798 Anybody ever use any kind of cctv signal test device? I need one that will tell me how good my camera signals are and indicate to me whether I may need to fit amplifiers on some systems that I takeover to get the best out of the cameras. Where would be the best place to purchase one? I just need something basic measure the peak to peak and give me an idea of issertion loss. LJD and i think SystemQ do one, i bought the focus meter from LJD, you need to be trade and unless you have a still scene it can't be used - bummer, as the most likely place you would wan't to use one is outside, because you can't see your test monitor in bright light regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!! February 17, 200818 yr comment_190831 I use a scope all the time but, the customers already have them on site. If I wanted to buy one then I would opt for a peak to peak, they may be a bit crude but still do the basic job. Top tip: if you ever catch fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because i bet thats what REALLY throws you into a panic and dont forget the one thing you cant recycle is wasted time.
