Where is the camera situated. Does it belong to you? Is it infringing your privacy?

For someone to give an accurate response, we need more information.

I think we have established that some have a blue light but I guess, if you were technically minded, you could change it to a colour that suits out of Maplins for example.

The cameras I normally use have green light or a red light, never seen a blue light. :P

I think you'll find the colour of the light is manufacturer specific. The light usually indicates that there is power to the camera and is normally located at the back next to the power socket/terminals. Some dummy cameras have a flashing light located on the front.

I'll let you decide on whether the camera is a "live camera"

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
