not sure if this has been asked before but when programming a galant is there anyway you can slow down keypad before it returns to the main screen before you put in the option you require

I know exactly what you mean, but afaik there's no way, you've just gotta know what you want to do before you do it. It's no use selecting option, 11, looking which zone you want to program, then typing it in, then looking what you want to program it as, then inputting that. You just gotta tap it fast into that little ***!!

Think that's bad, the worst part is changing the codes and adding prox's if you ask me.

Apparently Ademco may be stopping production of the gallant so look out for something new and exciting lol!

Have it on good authority that Galant is here to stay, but under the Honeywell banner

Try programming with laptop, much easier...

New Galant in a steel box, a good panel for the money, we have cut down the programming menu to what is need the full menu has about 4 options for each and by the time you read it its gone back to the main screen, laptop or upload to it the easy way
