Right Chaps-

Job under way.

Engineers Mode on. Panel cover(s) removed (one in hall and one in bedroom). But I can't see the aux. fuse.

I have attached a photo (hopefully) and would be grateful if you could describe where fuse is.

Thanks

Are you sure that's the control panel and not just a remote keypad? :ninja:

Bob i meant in the main alarm panel you need to remove BOTH screws top and bottom and that will be where the main 7ah or equiv battery will be. the photo shows the KEYPADS IMAGE NOT THE PANEL banghead

Right. I thought you meant the keypad panel!

The main panel is in the loft. I will put the bits back together and carry on later (or tomorrow). Meanwhile I will go and see if Liverpool are having more sucess in the FA Cup than I am having with electronics!

Thanks again.

Half-time.

Keypads re-asembled but now indicate "Tamper" on "Keypad 1". Hmmm, I wonder how that happened?

Keypad will not now allow me to exit from Engineers Mode.

Any ideas please?

take it apart and refit it again - chances are the little micro switch isnt making properly ( but dont let Arf lead you astray with resistors etc )

sorry little forum humour there

The 'tamper switch' on 'Keypad 1' has not "made"

Suggest Keypad 1 is the one closest to your final exit, open again and re-close (don't forget to have a look for the tamper switch, spring missing?)

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
