December 13, 200718 yr comment_186211 Hello, Recently moved into a property with a Veritas R8 system. I was left instructions on how to change the pin number which I`ve done but what I need to know is how to turn the mains power off. As soon as i flick the switch it goes into tamper. How do I silence the alarm to do any diy in the house. Any help much appreciated. But they don't last forever - maybe 4 or 5 years? Has it been serviced recently?
