Hi people, thanks for the input, I was only asking originally if anyone know of or preferably had used an IP camera that would be suitable for viewing number plates, the topic seems to have got a bit deep. I understand regarding lighting, frame rates capture quality etc. Maybe I didnt phrase things too well. I have access to standard analogue cameras that will do the job ok, but was looking for an IP unit

Bosch DinionXF (NWC‑0495) Day/Night IP Camera, not cheap but does the job :rolleyes:
