whats really unbelievable is the team played like they actually know of each other

great performance making the ruskies look very average, but the chances early 2nd half showed they can play a bit too

so it's fingers crossed (and everything else) for the return leg

be very interesting if we are brave enough to keep faith with the same line up and watch those players like lampard, even beckham and rooney who would normally be automatic selections, having to actually fight the outsiders aka hesky, bary (my motm x 2) and co for their places.

it can only be good for the national team if Steve McClarren can get the mix right
