H.264 Or Jpeg2000?

Different codec can be selected for viewing, different for recording and different for transmition of video and for each camera separately. Differential image compression method similar to H264 can be utilised for smooth UMTS/GPRS/GSM transmition. In result quite good quality of image on mobile phone can be achived. Not many manufacturers can offer such advanced technology. See my articles:

i would say i prefer jpeg2000 all the way, i have seen the h264 and i was not impressed by the playback quality at all it was very poor and i will only now install jpeg2000 dvr's
