to if alarm faults are not you bag, and i know understanderbly you would rather spend the pennies on your holiday - well BA fuel surcharges anyway , your best advised getting a decent engineer in to solve it.

there are very many reasons for false alarms on different detectors, not all are that obvious to the casual observer tand this is where the skill lie's (with all the greatest respect).
