I've never installed a PIR in a bathroom before. Has anyone had any experience of this? Is it advisable or not?

it is fine to contact the window in the means i have described.

if you contact the door what will they do at night? omit it and be unprotected?

maybe, or tunstall zone omit module either on timer or controled by chubb lock
