Securitech 700l

Featured Replies

Hello,

Help! I have a problem with a Securitech 700L.

The tamper led on the remote keypad will not go out. I have shorted out the tamper circuit in the panel and the tamper led is still on??? I have also tried shorting out the tamper circuit in the remote keypad and the tamper led is still on.

I dont have a user manual. Is there a reset on the Keypad? eg code + what?

Or does it mean the remote keypad is simply goosed?

there may be two other tamper circuits , the keypad tamper, and bell box tamper.

Hi ,

Code + # is RESET.

But it sounds like you have more than one tamper circuit open...or your panel has frozen , (do the keys still beep when pressed?).

Regards.

Yes the keys beep and it also beeps on the exit but does not set.

There is also a tamper circuit for the bell , and a tamper switch for the cover of the main box, go back to the begining , check all tampers and reset the system.
