Ish
Hi All If rg59 cable needs extending can you just add a male/female bnc connection in and extend it? I was told adding a 'join' in the cable reduces the video quality? Thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/16725-extending-video-cable/ Share on other sites

arfur mo
it is said that each join 'costs' one decibel, if colour above over 200 yards then might be an issue, if not doubt you will have a problem. it's always best to use crimped connections not the wind on one's. regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
