Scantronic 9448es & Sd1+

Featured Replies

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help.

I have a Scantronic 9448ES Alarm and have just purchased (Ebay!) an SD1+ Speech Dialler. I have spent all morning trying to work out how to connect the Speech Dialler to the control panel.

A. I just want it to call me when the alarm goes off, so only need to connect up 'Trigger C', but do I connect 12v on the SD1+ to 12v on the control panel?

B. If so where do I connect OV to???

c. and where do I connect 'Abort'????

these are probably dumb questions, sorry!

0v goes to a terminal marked - or 12v-

please be careful with opening the panel as lethal voltages are contained within

i never use abort on speech diallers

thanks! But still confused!

a. Whats the trigger polarity? (- or +) How do I find this out?

b. Does trigger C on the SD1+ go into 12v on the control panel? (This (Trigger C) seems to be the one which will call me on the mobile if the alarm goes off.

c. whats O/P1?????

Sorry about the naive questions, but i'm just interested in how this works, and would rather try and install it myself.

The member has sorted it himself so closing topic as no more advice needed - thank guys - Arfur
