Ad2510 Speech Dialer

Recommended Posts

I have just bought a AD2510 Speech dialer which is a lynteck there are instructions with the unit

this is what it says

2 wires to phone -no problem

2 wires to 12v + and - no problem

2 wires to "Dry" contact (Normal; open loop. "Trigger"; close loop) NOW this is where my probs start, i have tried to conect to g3 mini and when i connect multi meter on it it pushes out 4.5 volts when i try to connect to D+ and B- the sounder goes of as there is voltage going through the 2 wires.

It says on the box can be activated by NO/NC or VOLTAGE TRIGGERING

i have tried different combinations on the panel and nothing happens if on the "dry wires" i touch the 2 together then it rings my mobile but nothing on the panel

Connect one side to 0v and the other to -bell trigger, when the bell is triggered it will make a closed circuit.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

just wired one up onsite and it wont dial out have tried wiring as you said but it wont dial out, if i disconnect cables it then dials out

on G3 panel i connected 1 wire to B - sounder trigger and 1 to A -0V

They will only go 1 way round as if i put them on the other the outside bell rings.

where i have connected to it looks like a SABX Panel should i leave a gap when dialing!

thanks

Or alternatively use a different speech dialler, one that takes a pos/neg input. Menvier and Texecom units both do.
