February 28, 200719 yr comment_154874 Hi all, I have just set up a four camera CCTV system which uses X-Vision software for the recording. It works grand for video both live and recorded but has a problem recording sound. Viewing the live video, I can hear the sound OK and it will even be audible using the netwok link on another PC, but try as I might, I cannot get sound on the playback. The video plays back OK but totally silent. I am using an AMD PC with 256 Ram, AC97 onboard audio, XP4SW25 capture board and Win XP home SP2. Any idea's ? February 28, 200719 yr comment_154906 Slight deviation to topic, but, if you are using xp I would think about upgrading your memory to at least 512mb, ideally more. It probably wont help with your audio problem though. Edited February 28, 200719 yr by breff The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! March 2, 200719 yr Author comment_155359 UPDATE ********* Problem found to be that the schedule needed selecting AFTER the sound option was turned on. I found Y3K to be absolutely brilliant in resolving this issue and can heartily recommend them and their products.
