Sound Problem With X-vision Software

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have just set up a four camera CCTV system which uses X-Vision software for the recording. It works grand for video both live and recorded but has a problem recording sound.

Viewing the live video, I can hear the sound OK and it will even be audible using the netwok link on another PC, but try as I might, I cannot get sound on the playback. The video plays back OK but totally silent.

I am using an AMD PC with 256 Ram, AC97 onboard audio, XP4SW25 capture board and Win XP home SP2.

Any idea's ?

Thanks

Darren

Hi

Can you PM me your contact details and I will have an Xvision technician call you tomorrow to see if they can help.

Best regards

Peter

Slight deviation to topic, but, if you are using xp I would think about upgrading your memory to at least 512mb, ideally more. It probably wont help with your audio problem though.

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

UPDATE *********

Problem found to be that the schedule needed selecting AFTER the sound option was turned on. I found Y3K to be absolutely brilliant in resolving this issue and can heartily recommend them and their products.

Thanks - Darren

whats x-vision ?

worth using in my spare desktop ?
